Located in the Mad River Valley where locals know and visitors learn that the true Vermont experience lies in our mountains and valleys.  Sure, we have the infamous Route 100 meandering thru our towns and The Mad River flowing North thru our backyards but what will bring you back time after time is Sugarbush Mountain.

A genuine four season resort, Sugarbush Mountain has something for everyone regardless of the season.  Winter of course is our premier season, with skiing and snowboarding the top choice for visitors.  But there is also cross country skiing, ice skating, snowshoe tours, horse drawn sleigh rides, sledding on our very own Mad River Rockets,  Winter Naturalist Programs, Dog sledding, Snowmobiling and the most talked about activity this winter…Cat Skiing on Sugarbush Mountain.  This twelve passenger cabin cat with a flat screen tv and comfy seats will take you and your friends up the mountain for first tracks in the morning and a gourmet meal at night followed by skiing down in the dark!  Word has it that this should be on everyone’s bucket list!!  I know it is on mine!

Spring brings to mind warmer temperatures, soft snow and classic spring sking/snowboarding.  It’s the time of the year when the mountains of Sugarbush (Sugarbush Mountain) kicks into Partytime!  Whether it is Big Dummy Air Contest, Pond Skimming, Bump contests or just plain ole’ riding the lift in t-shirts and sunglasses, it’s the time when everyone comes out of the woodwork to play!

Summer is of course a great time to kick back and relax…Start your day at the local Farmers Market off buying the freshest local fruits, vegetable, cheese and bread you can get your hands on.  Then decide between a game of golf, tennis, biking, soaring, horseback riding or a mellow float down the Mad River.  When you are in the Sugarbush Mountains, everyday can be as much or as little as you want…its your vacation time!

Fall brings cooler temperatures, beautiful foliage, crisp apples and the smell of wood smoke in the air.  It’s a time when our thoughts turn to what’s coming up….SNOW!!  But we will be patient until it gets here and will gear up with hikes in the Sugarbush Mountains from the Lincoln Gap to the Appalachian Gap, bike rides on colorful dirt roads and maybe a local brew made just for the fall!

Sugarbush Mountain is the place to be anytime of year, centrally located in Green Mountains of Vermont.   The “Sugarbush Mountain” feeling you get when you crest over the mountains and head into our towns will not soon be forgotten!

So to sum it up, winter, spring summer or fall, come on up to our Sugarbush Mountains and you will know what it is that keeps us here and keeps folks coming on back!
